The demand for product liability Insurance has arisen because of the wide variety of products manufactured and sold to the public in the modern industrial society which products, if defective, may cause death, bodily injury or illness, or even property damage.
The indemnity just applies to claims arising out of accidents during the Insurance period and initially made in writing against the insured during the policy period arising out of any defects in the products specified in the schedule. The Insurer indemnifies the following the operative clause for and arising out of injury damage or pollution but only against claims arising out of or connected with any products specified in the schedule.
